A little Christmas inspiration

Good Morning,  Today I thought I'd share a bit of Christmas inspiration via a layout I made for the Whimsical Twist blog  using a non-4x6 photo.  You can link up a layout over there for a chance to win a $15 gift card to the WT shop

I used my KLD scallop borders and ornament templates on this page.
I also created these two Christmas cards with some of my leftover Echo Park "tis the Season" 6x6 paper that I received in my Merry & Bright DD kit from the Whimsical Twist shop.

I have been working on some fun pages in my December Days Album.  Here is a look at some dividers I made.
This divider I painted with Chalkboard paint and stamped snowflakes in white ink. I used a Sharpie paint marker ( water based ) to write out my sentiment.
On this divider I again painted the divider with chalkboard paint then I cut out a foil paper tree and glued it to the black background. I then cut a polka dot transparency sheet to size and added my title with corrugated thicker letters and a glitter star.

Thanks for stopping by today if your looking for some scrappy good bargains to help with your Christmas project check out this great sale going on over in the Whimsical Twist Shop

Fall Bucket List Album continued.

Today I am sharing some of my completed pages from my Fall Bucket List Album.  With fall in full swing I'm sure you are taking lots of fun photos.

For this project I used the Websters Pages "Family Traditions" Collection.  I'm sure you have seen the latest features on the Whimsical Twist blog highlighting this beautiful collection by Adrienne Loom.
Be sure to visit the WT shop and pick it up for yourself.

We have had a few fall outings and the photos I took fit right into this scrapbook album perfectly.  Completing a project with my photos is sometimes challenging for me so I am really happy that I took the time to create foundation pages ahead of time so now all I have to do is get those photos off my computer and into this sweet little album. By the end of November I will have a completed keepsake album that my family will cherish for years to come.  I hope you enjoyed a peek at my album in progress.

So get out there take some fun fall photos and document your family fun.

Happy Scrappin'

Sneak Peek at my December Days Album

Are you creating a December Daily/Days Album this year?  I am.  I will be sharing pages as I go along so check back in to see my project.  I am using the Merry & Bright Kit from Whimsical Twist to complete this project along with some scrap goodies from my stash.  I love all the traditional colors of this kit along with the chalkboard elements.  ( my new scrapbook obsession... chalkboard! ) My album is a Snap album with black cloth binding. I covered the neutral part of the cover with a bright red patterned paper and die-cut title. Finished off with pretty bow and rick-rac.

This is my Album Cover - Check out the cute exclusive flair

Here is a quick peek inside my album. I will be documenting December days 1 -25 "Counting down to Christmas "

Now for the winner of my little blog candy giveaway; Suzanne  I sent you an email.
Thanks to all of my New followers for entering to win.

Whimsical Twist Blog Hop

Welcome to the Whimsical Twist Favorite Blog Hop!  Hopefully you reached me from the Whimsical Twist Blog if not you should go back and start the hop from there!

Today I am sharing my favorite fall project and 5 of my favorite items in the Whimsical Twist Shop.
I created these Thanksgiving cards using the Webster's Pages "Family Traditions" collection. This is my favorite paper collection for fall. The colors are so warm and pretty.
here is a closer look at my favorite card

Don't forget to add some layers and sentiments to the inside of your cards.

I also created some Thankfulness place cards with my scraps. We will use these at our Thanksgiving dinner, each guest can write on the inside of their card what they are Thankful for. These will make a great addition to my family scrapbook.
These are some of the supplies I used to create my cards.
All blog hops should have a giveaway and this is no exception! At each stop along the hop, make sure that you leave a comment so you can be entered to win a $20 gift card to the Whimsical Twist shop!  One random commenter who has commented on ALL of the blogs will win!
